Pace
Very Slow- Team moves the ball up and down the floor slowly, and does not score a lot of points. Conversely it holds the opponents to fewer points. Good for teams with A level ball handlers and many B or better defenders
Slow- Slightly faster than the very slow, good for teams with B level ball handlers
Normal- A normal pace, not too fast not too slow. Good for teams with average ball handlers and players.
Fast- Moves the ball up quickly and scoring increases. Good for teams with a lot of high ranking offensive players and medicore defense.
Very Fast- Good for teams with a lot of quick athletic players. Should have A level ball handlers
Trap and Press
Never- This is good if your wings and guards are bad defenders.
Sometimes- Good for teams with below average wing defenders
Normal- Good for average defenders
Often- Should only be done if you have guards with above a B defensive ranking
Always-Should only be done if you have guards with above a B defensive ranking, and bigs with good shot blocking skills
Offensive Focus
Inside- Good for teams with very good big men with B rankings or higher in inside scoring
Balance- Good if your team has a nice balance between guards, wings and bigs.
Outside- Good if your best players are wings or guards.
