How does it feel to finally come home to your favorite franchise after so many years of working for other organizations?

Its really good, This is where the heart is at, always has been and always will be in Boston. I've maneged other teams like Golden State, The Clippers, Pistons and the 76ers and to be finely taking over the reigns of basketballs most storied franchise, really stepping into the shoes so to speak of Red Auerbach, its a great honor. Its also a responsibility, one that require a lot of hard work, we've finely after two decades got this team in a position to possibly win several titles as its built now. The Job now is to make sure that the teams remains a title contender, not just for 3 years or so, but year after year.

you now have a packed front court with KG,Perkins and Shaq, how do you plan to manage a line up like that?

I've always liked a smaller rotation and Shaq brings in the most unique situation for us, simply put, no one in the league can out muscle Shaq. He's 35 but could still have a MVP type of season.. those three points should say it all. Shaq will replace Perkins in the starting 5 spot.
KG is right now playing at a level where he's comparable to any other great Power Forward in history. His speed and finese we think will work out well to complement Shaq's bulky muscle. The thing is, Perkins who we feel will be the key to what we're going to try and do, Perk will rotate in between both positions, theres 96 minutes to go between the three and I hope to keep is sort of balenced.
Perkins brings us rebounding and a tough inside presence. Teams just arent going to want to try to penetrate when Perk and Shaq are on the floor, thats just a suicide mission.
When we have Perkins and Garnett on the floor at the same time, again we're going to be looking at the ability to get defenseive stops, we think the two will complement each other well, both are guys who are unselfish offensively, but totaly obsessed with their defense.
With the three, we plan to shape our identity on rebounding and defensive prowless. Especialy in the post, the rest of the team is going to be shaped more on the idea of being able to score quickly. and be a pest with a full court press... get past them, then deal with our interior. We think its a slid plan.

You are over the Hard cap how do you think you going to get out of that hole? Trades. We're not done making moves, not by any means, right now we're just under 13 million over the hard cap, but even with only eight players on the team at the moment we feel we've got plenty of moves to make before everything is said and done. We're confident about the guys we've got that we plan to keep, and think our team is going to be a very dominent force, not just in the reguler season, but come playoff time, the people we have out there are going to be looking for a title. Everythign we do this season will be all about that one goal, winning a championship.
