Bynun, you were traded from a situation where your team was the favored to go to the finals, to a team who is striving to rebuild. How does it feel to be put into a situation where you'll have to go through growing pains first before having a shot at contending for a title now?

Bynum:It's Bynum by the way, anyways, I wouldn't consider it a championship team to start with, they have made alot of great moves thus far, but they still have to go out there and prove it. So I don't feel to badly about it, but even if I did, I couldn't say anything to prevent the trade from happening, so I will have to live with what I have. I'm 20 right now, so I got my whole career ahead of me. If it means growing a little here, then it's worth it. With the roster the way it is now, there's no guarantee's I would get consistent playing time there. In Detroit, I will not only get minutes, but I will get the ball in the post alot more then in LA.
So to answer your question, I'm slightly disappointed, but I know it's for the best

Question is for Bynum and the GM
Bynum you averaging a double double so far what do you feel that you need to work on?
GM: how do you feel about your team record so far considering that you are rebuilding this year?

Bynum: I need to get a better jump shot, I'm not always going to get a easy chance at the rim and so sometimes I might have to go out 10 feet to hit the shot.
GM:The team is looking pretty good actually, Chauncey and Rip have been great leaders despite trade rumors surronding the both of them and Bynum has also played pretty well, so it's a great start thus far.

With Mr Big Shot gone who is the new leader of the Detroit Pistons?

GM:We're in a transition phase right now, so we don't really have a leader, though Rip is most likely our newest leader, however he could be traded tomorrow.
