So I'm not really big on extensions as I feel players are usually easy to resign anyways. And something going on in a different league has got me thinking that extensions aren't needed what so ever and I will even go as far as to say resignings aren't needed so much either. It just leaves all the good free agents signed for years and years and there is not that much player movement. This is especially important for the 2010 offseason as I'm sure some of you have in mind.
But, since it's already been posted in the rules and I'm sure there are some people that want to keep it. So I will leave it up to all of you, should we have resignings? And if so, would you also want extensions added on top of it? Post your feelings here.

I voted for Resigning and Extension.
Because you got to make things fair for the original team.

im in favor of both extensions and resignings...
but then im also a fan of the real days when teams built around drafting and trading

might consider it, especially since I have some young guys needing some money soon hehe But I do feel teams would still have a good chance at resigning their guys even without extensions, and I have always viewed extensions as a waste of money. In most of the league I have been in, star players usually resign.
